Stay Connected!

The YPS Communications & Public Relations Division supports schools and programs with a variety of services.

For families, community, schools and staff:

➤ SchoolMessenger & SchoolMessenger Home App

The SchoolMessenger notification service is used to deliver large volumes of messages through several channels including voice, email, text message, push notification, social media, web post, desktop alert, and more primarily for the following reasons:

> General District Announcements

> Automated Attendance Calls

> Emergency Closure Announcements

> School specific Announcements

Our SchoolMessenger system is directly integrated with our student and employee information systems allowing for the most up-to-date contact information to be used in disseminating information. To this end, it is important to keep your contact information up-to-date. You may update your contact information at your child's home school. In addition, you may set your preferences to only receive certain call types, including general announcements, emergency calls, fundraising calls, athletic calls, surveys, and more. Visit our help article at https://yukon.helpdocs.io/l/en/article/1thhdr16jb-how-do-i-access-schoolmessenger-as-a-parent-or-employee for more information.

➤ YPS Mobile App

The YPS Mobile app is the District's official mobile app used to send push and text messages about school and district events and closures.

Download our mobile app on your iOS or Android device or access via any web browser at:  https://www.yukonps.com/district/communication_services/mobile_app

➤ YPS Social Media
