How do I access SchoolMessenger as a parent or employee?

SchoolMessenger is the main communications system used by all schools and facilities in the Yukon Public School District. SchoolMessenger is updated from our student and employee information systems, so it is important that you update your contact and demographic information on a regular basis with your school or if you are an employee via the School ERP Pro Employee Self-Service Portal.

If you are a parent or employee and wish to access or update your contact preferences on what types of calls you receive, please visit Here you can access your account online via the email address you have provided to your child's school (employees may use their email) as well as download the SchoolMessenger Home App where you can also control your preferences or access sent messages from your child's school or the District.

Not Receiving Emails, Phone Calls, Communications? 
Messages are sent to the emails and phone numbers we have on file for parents and guardians. If you are not receiving messages either the information we have on file for you is incorrect, out-date, or you have unsubscribed, blocked, or reported our messages as spam. If this was done in error you may submit a parent/guardian support ticket here. and we can put an override in the system for you or verify the information we have on file for you. 

Opt-in to SMS/Text Messaging
You may opt-in and receive text messages from Yukon Public Schools and your child's school by texting YES to short code 67587. Please note that this must be a cell phone number we have on file for you in our student information system.

Additional SchoolMessenger Web & Home App Functions.
When logged in to the SchoolMessenger Home App you have several options outside of the Attendance reporting function to help stay connected with your child(ren)'s school and communications from the District and District level departments. Along with Attendance reporting features the SchoolMessenger Home App functionality includes the ability for you to review all notifications and messages related to your schools and district in a single, scrollable, “stream” view if you missed a phone call or didn't receive a message through the primary source sent to.
